A Louisiana middle school allowed a 7th grader to have his service dog photographed for the school year
book.
It’s not often you see a yearbook photo with a student holding a leash in her mouth, but a Louisiana
middle school made an exception for a heart-warming reason this year.
When it came time for school photos, Good Hope Middle School in Louisiana, decided to ask 7th-
grader Seph Ware if he wanted to have his service dog photographed for the school's yearbook,
AL.com reported. For the past four years, Seph, who has a rare muscle disease called Duchenne muscular
dystrophy, has taken his service dog, Presley, everywhere with him, even to class.
Seph’s mother, Lori Ware , told AL.com that her son said "why not," when the school asked if Presley could
be featured alongside the other student's photos.
